I was commissioned to create this painting for a gentleman, Mr. Darling, who

was instrumental in opening Whitlock Golf & Country Club over 75 years ago. It was

 presented to Mr. Darling on an special evening to commemorate his many years at the Club.

Mr. Darling is still a member of Whitlock Golf & Country Club to this day.

This painting was taken from an original photograph taken my the

 brother of one of the members of Whitlock Golf & Country Club.
